Helping to pay

Benefit from an ENERGYWISE™ grant

If your house was built before 2000, you are eligible for Government funding to install insulation in your home.

The ENERGYWISE™ grant will give you a maximum of $1,300 (or 33% of the cost) towards the cost of ceiling and under floor insulation, if your house was built before 2000.

You can use this funding for other energy efficiency measures, including:

  • a hot-water cylinder wrap to prevent heat loss
  • insulation for your pipes
  • measures to stop draughts
  • ground underlay under the house to stop moisture rising through the floor.
